ROC
Apeldoorn by Studio Makkink & Bey
Jurgen Bey was asked by the ROC professional training school in Apeldoorn
in the Netherlands to design a classroom interior. The
classroom walls, floor and furniture are decorated with images taken from
reference books used at the school. Everything in the classroom is coloured
either white or grey. Spaces are divided by moveable hanging screens that
are also printed with technical patterns. The floors are made with Senso
Freeze, a unique flooring system based on transparent resin, allows any
digital photo to be layed-out on the floor and 'frozen' into it. The system
is colour-fast and highly wear resistant.
