The first Moss store outside New York is now open on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. The 3500 square foot space is very near fashion-forward Melrose Place, and just a few blocks from the blue whale, the Pacific Design Center. come August 3 when the large glass door in our ivy covered front pushes open to an astounding Swarovski Crystal Palace installation (of eighteen 8-foot high Vertical Glitterbox chandeliers by Georg Baldele) surrounding a 1938 Steinway Baby Grand fire-sculpted by Maarten Baas. Plus Perished, a monumental laser-cut wooden furniture collection from Studio Job and important studio work from Fernando and Humberto Campana and Tord Boontje. And for the first time in Los Angeles, the iconic 606 Universal Shelving System designed by Dieter Rams for Vitsoe.
